Not!
Men de får poäng för att de visar hur värdelöst DRM är…

Is this really bad? The movie was brilliant. But I can’t wait for the Directors cut and with all the extras to give me a complete experience.
If it is released only on Blue-ray I will have a fit.
Sure enough, the movie cost 120+ mill to make, but FFS, it only came out a week or two ago (I’ve been traveling and is confused). That amount above is USA only. What is the take world wide? Or do we not count for you all mighty Hollywood people?
If a movie cost 120 million dollars to make, doesn’t it matter how much it brings in in kronor, pounds, euros, yen or rupees?
Stop making up statistics. Statistics make people take drastic actions and make bad decisions.
999 of 1000 people think this is true.

Ace Ventura JR
Ace Ventura Jr Pet Detective 2009 DVDRip XviD-JACKVID(No Rars) (download torrent) – TPB.
Seriously… I got to give my thanks to any pirate release groups for opening my eyes to Hollywoods blasphemous spin on raping good movies and produce inbred off-spring.
In this case though it seriously seem like the obscene abuse of a seriously shitty film (only saved by then unknown Jim Carrey), and not realising what made it great (Jim Carrey), transposing it to a sequel (sans Jim Carrey) and resplicing the DNA of the movie with something a third grader would hopefully never turn in on his “free writing” assignment.
Judging from the cover only (because there is no way in HELL I would download this movie, nor would I ever rent it, or go to see it in a cinema),
- Ace Ventura JR was appearantly LOVING HIS PIES AS MUCH AS ANIMALS! Seriously, could you not get another 10 year old with a credible “Al’righty then” ???
- Hair…. so Ace Ventura JR has never ever had a hairstyle other thanhis dad. Because his parents would never ever cut his hair…. or force him to cut it. Or he seriously suffers from hero worship of an idiot of a father.
- Is he retarded, or suffering from an Oedipus complex since he not only sports the same hair-do as his appearant father, but also the clothes that shrunk after his father was dunked too many times by a dolphin?
I am sorry Hollywood. But if you blame the non-success of this movie on piracy – let me spell it out for you: I-T I-S a B-A-D I-D-E-A. Simple. Most people (Myself included), like spending money on what we deem worthy the value. This movie can not be worth the film it is printed on. It will probably not even be downloadable in a weeks time, because peoples harddrives will have melted from the taint of this film. How many innocents will have suffered this through plain curiosity? God knows. It could actually be a plan of the Media companies, because they know only their relatives would ever buy this movie to give to charity, and they hope to drum up some attention to make people buy it, or just sue people for the value of the camera man and the writer. I gave them this attention, without even having watched the hell-spawn. May the gods have mercy on my soul…
It must seriously be so shitty that not even a five year old would consider sitting down and watching it, unless they are paid.
Hulu plans to go international

Hulu plans to go international.
Ironically, the video they link to in this post, is not viewable outside the US. Unless you go through proxy or VPN in the states.
If Hulu launches worldwide, and actually have the same content as in the states, then I sure as heck would subscribe.
Do you get that, content owners? I want the same bloody content, not what you think I want. I want to pick for myself.
End of rant

“In a get-tough policy, Bell has targeted end users by threatening legal action against customers who have been sold FTA receivers and were registered members of websites that promoted piracy.”
I found this passage extremely scary. How can you know whether someone actually HAVE one of these boxes just from looking at a forum? It is insanity along the lines of “Are you or have you ever been an active member of the communist party? No? Oh we will just ruin your life and your career anyway…. you know, just in case. It is for the good of the country.” They talk about this like it is a new thing, but as far as I know this has been done for at least 20 odd years! Why the sudden interest? Because possible earnings are better than real earnings. Pure and udderfugging greeed.
TV-channels are dead. It is insanity. 200 channels of which you are interested in 2% of the content – specific programmes, series and films.
Also, the article was really out of date. Most satellite networks in Europe ARE encrypted, and have been since early 90’s.
I want to see some real alternatives from the networks on this. Let people choose their programmes, and when to watch them, TiVO like. People can subscribe to their series, and instead of a History channel, you get history documentaries focusing on your favourite eras.
I subscribe and pay for my satellite service, and when renewing time rolls around, I will switch to digital terrestrial. The free package is good enough for me.
